Celebrating a Year of Fashion
The Seen is a group of fashion-forward Detroiters who got together to help develop the city as a hub for the fashion industry. Home to motown and having been one of the nations biggest, glitziest, most glamorous cities, Detroit is steeped in a tradition of style and creativity.
To celebrate their first anniversary, over a dozen members of the group got together at the same spot they launched the collaborative, a classic Detroit brick-paver street, lined with historic homes.
We were asked to join them and capture the moment, the threads, and see how everyone was feeling after a year of success with The Seen.

A compilation of the various members, we interwove interview-style shots with dramatic, slow-motion closeups of their fantastic attire. Add in a stylish, sexy track, and you start to get a feel for what it was like hanging out with this group of fashion leaders.
As an expansion of the original work, we created single-person films to hear more about what various individuals had to say.
